The initiative was born in 2010 thanks to the effort, passion, and foresight of our friend Mario Senigagliesi. It was active until 2019, the year Mario passed away, and restarted in May 2023, with a day trip each month.
Volunteers organize in advance to ensure the correct number of cars are available. The group starts each trip at Largo Marconi in Turin, near the ASAI headquarters in San Salvario, and returns there.
The destinations are carefully evaluated and selected to harmonize being in nature and the possibility of enjoying the outdoors without getting too tired and minimizing risks.
From September to July, the group plans one outing a month to enjoy nature and share good times. The activities are open to all interested parties, from young adults who frequent ASAI to minors, if accompanied by an adult. Adequate clothing is necessary, as is the exchange of information between participants and volunteers.
